Top Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Malta - Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top Maps and Navigation apps on the Android platform in Malta showed varied trends in downloads, according to Sensor Tower data.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 614 at the beginning of April and peaking at 1.1K in early May. The downloads stabilized towards the end of the quarter, fluctuating between 800 and 900.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a steady rise in downloads, beginning with 498 at the end of March and reaching up to 976 by late May. After a slight dip in early June, downloads picked up again, closing the quarter at 783.

Rapido: Bike-Taxi, Auto & Cabs maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers ranging from 403 to 769 throughout the quarter. The downloads peaked in late May, followed by a slight decline, ending with 634 downloads in the final week of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a modest increase in downloads, starting at 356 in late March and reaching a peak of 549 in early May. The numbers then saw a gradual decline, stabilizing around 376 by the end of June.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares had a fluctuating download pattern, with a significant drop from 749 in late March to 106 in early April. However, the downloads recovered to 583 by the end of the quarter.
